currently obsessed with captain america. still otp-ing santana lopez and brittany s. pierce mad hard.
i had feeeeelings for the complicated relationship dynamic of the unholy trinity.
now very much in love with captain america: the first avenger because of that little guy from brooklyn who was too dumb not to run away from a fight.
also, peggy carter. because she was competent and badass in a time that not many women can be. but most of all: they had a date.

RON: Strippers do nothing for me. I like a strong, salt-of-the-earth, self-posessed woman at the top of her field: your Steffi Grafs, your Sheryl Swoopses. But I will take a free breakfast buffet any time, any place.

Though Schur hadn’t seen the finished episode yet, he said there were several small “West Wing” homages in it, and he told the director if there was room for a “West Wing”-style walk-and-talk with Amy Poehler and Bradley Whitford, he “wouldn’t complain.” But don’t look for a mini-“West Wing” reunion in Pawnee: Rob Lowe, who played Seaborn, did not share a scene with his “West Wing” castmate Whitford.

Although Poehler has penned episodes of Parks and Rec before, this will be her first time stepping behind the cameras. Schur isn’t revealing much else about the episode, save for the fact that the debate will be moderated by Pawnee talking head Perd Hapley.

"[Leslie] has a sixty year plan. It involves being the Parks Department. And eventually, maybe running for town council and getting a seat on town council. And then running for city council and then eventually, assisting the lieutenant governor of Indiana. Then the lieutenant governor resigns due to some cocaine scandal or something. And then she takes over as lieutenant governor, and then she runs for senator of Indiana and wins. And then becomes, perhaps, vice presidential candidate. And then eventually becomes the first female president of the United States… and she serves three terms!"
Mike Schur and all the writers on the show actually wrote the book, and it’s hilarious. It’s exactly the kind of humor that you find on the show. It’s really really funny. I wish I could take credit for it. My character wrote a chapter in it and I wish that I wrote that, but I’m far too lazy and stupid to write something that could be printed in a book. | Adam Scott on the new Parks and Recreation book, Pawnee - The Greatest Town in America (x)
