The best pairings are the ones with the really easy color schemes. 

I like that MCUBucky follows rules (or at least follows the idea of rules, falls in line with what is Socially Acceptable or what is expected of him culturally whereas Steve is really the one kicking down doors and making sassy remarks while doing it). I like that Bucky pretends he’s fine. I like that Bucky bickers. That MCUBucky isn’t close to the rest of the Howling Commandos. I like that something was broken on a metal table in a dark room and it isn’t coming back, no matter how much Steve Rogers smiles at him from across a room (and how part of the reason it might not may actually be exacerbated by the gut twist of jealousy those smiles cue off). I like how even though that happens, Bucky still picks up Cap’s shield.
